SULLIVAN COUNTY — On January 21, the Village of Liberty Police Department arrested Terry Wilson, 25, of Livingston Manor after an investigation into a sexual assault that occurred in the Village of Liberty. Village of Liberty Police say they began investigating on January 20 after receiving a report that a 14-year-old female had been the victim of a sex crime.

The resulting investigation resulted in locating Wilson and arresting him without incident. Wilson was charged with rape in the 2nd degree, a felony and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor. Wilson was arraigned in the Town of Liberty Court and remanded to Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail, $10,000 secured bond or $20,000 partially secured bond.
