WOODBOURNE – Local artist and writer, Judy Schafman, will present her paintings of a host of unusual creatures-unique, quirky, and with plenty to say.  They knock on the door of her inner self and demand to be released onto the canvas.

Opening reception is on Saturday, October 18 from 2-7pm and for each Saturday and Sunday thereafter from 3-5pm. Exhibit runs until November  9 at the Old Stone House, 282 Hasbrouck Road, Woodbourne.

Judy, with her husband Larry, will also present their new book called Sequoia, Lady Liberty, and Ganesh for review and book signing.  It is a story of the sage Sequoia, and how she enlightens a band of shapeshifting teen explorers.
