Margaret H. Harsch passed away peacefully at home on November 6, 2022 surrounded by her family and friends. She was 86 years of age.

Margaret was married to Edward H. Harsch on May 12, 1956. Edward predeceased her on May 26, 2004.

She was born on July 5, 1936 in Paramus, New Jersey. She was the daughter of the late Thomas R. and Margaret Monroe Lindley. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Westwood, New Jersey.

Besides her parents she is predeceased by four brothers, Thomas, David, Robert and James, and son-in-law, Jake Hopkins.

Besides being a good wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she will be sorely missed by her family and friends. We would also like to thank Hospice, Annie Germain, Carolyn Grady, Tammi Diehl, Bonnie Davis, Jane Holzman, and Courtney Elmore for their love and caring support for our mom.

Also, surviving are three daughters, Peggy Miller and husband Roy, Diana Swendsen and husband Bradley and Holly Hopkins, all of Tyler Hill, Pa., and son, Edward T. and wife Deborah of Waymart, Pa.; grandchildren: Kristin, Kelly and Kevin, Bryan and Delanie, Brandon and Courtney, Brett and Michelle, Edward Zachary and Anissa, and Rachael; great-grandchildren: Karleigh, Riley, Savannah, Griffin, Killian, Hadley, Harper, Naomi, Whitney, and Nate.

Friends may visit at the Damascus United Methodist Church on Sunday, November 13, 2022 from 1:00-5:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held November 14, 2022 at the Damascus United Methodist Church, 1720 Cochecton Turnpike, Damascus, PA at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Michelle Galloway officiating. Interment will be in the Hillside cemetery.
