Liberty youth football standout Andrew McPhillips recently traveled to Texas to participate in a 13U tournament at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. McPhillips played left tackle and defensive tackle. On the defensive end he had four tackles, and overall contributed to his team, East Coast, defeating the West Coast squad 19-0, coming away as a national champion. McPhillips is entering the eighth grade this fall and plans on once again suiting up for Liberty's modified team.
