Michael Herbert Hornicek, age 58, passed away on November 16, 2021. He was the son of Mary Etta and the late Charles ‘Bud’ Hornicek. Mike, his wife Donna and their three children, Kendall, Kyle and Kacey lived in Los Angeles, CA.
Mike was born and raised in Hortonville, NY. He was a Delaware Valley Central School graduate. After high school, he received a degree in mechanical engineering at RIT where he met his future wife, Donna. He and Donna moved to California together right after graduation. They owned a home in Torrance, CA where they raised their three children – Kendall, a nurse and Kyle and Kacey who are currently in college. Mike had been east to attend his Dad’s funeral in September and had just returned home when he suddenly became ill. He will be sorely missed by those who loved him.
Internment will be held at the Hortonville cemetery. There will be no services. The family will be holding a private celebration of life in 2022.
