Michael L Dolgas, of Pickens, SC and formerly of Monticello, NY died on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina. He was 75.

The son of Michael and Dorothy Kehrley Dolgas, he was born on July 4, 1945 in Livingston Manor, New York.

He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Michael is survived by his daughter, Heidi Pavese and her husband Brendan of Woodbourne, NY, his two sons John Dolgas and his wife Rosanna and Mark Dolgas all of Woodbourne, NY.

He is survived by five grandchildren: Gina and Timothy Dolgas and Taylor, Brendan and Colin Pavese all of Woodbourne, NY.

He is also survived by his brothers Jim and partner Lorraine of Athens, NY, Dick and his wife Sandy of Cape Coral, FL, Tom and his wife Lorraine of Essex Junction, VT and Brian and his wife Jean of Stillwater, NY; sisters Jill Iorio and her husband Richard of Taylors, SC, Lori O'Shaughnessy and her husband Joe of Queensbury, NY, Mary Pardi and her husband Terry of Pickens, SC; 16 nieces and nephews, 17 great-nieces and nephews; and one great-great-niece; Aunt Nancy Bornemann of Syracuse, NY and many cousins.

He is also survived by longtime partner Ruth Brown.

He was predeceased by his brother John and sister JoBeth; sister-in-law Andrea Dolgas and two nieces Cheri Stevenson and Kelly Coll.

Cremation will be held at the convenience of the family with arrangements under the care of Colonial Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Oak Street Cemetery in Livingston Manor, NY at a later date.
