SULLIVAN COUNTY – Keeping up with personal health and wellness can be a tedious task, but local health and fitness coach Maggi Fitzpatrick is bringing her ten years of experience to the Democrat with the mission of improving the county’s overall health.

Maggi’s focus lies in helping people optimize their human performance through exercise, nutrition and mindset shifts. After graduating from Livingston Manor in 2012, Maggi moved on to Ithaca College, where she graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Exercise Science. She moved away from New York to work and grow before returning to Sullivan County in 2019.

Maggi owns Calo Fitness LLC, co-hosts The Meg and Maggi Podcast and coaches varsity girls basketball at Livingston Manor. Her diverse experience includes working with collegiate athletes, cardiac rehabilitation patients, women during pregnancy and postpartum, the general population and more.

Maggi assists people with prioritizing their health and optomizing their performance through exercise, nutrition, mindset shifts and education. One of her main priorities is teaching people how to challenge the all-or-nothing mindset when it comes to health, and helps them implement simple and sustainable practices for their everyday life.

Aside from coaching, Maggi continues to love participating in sports, and can usually be found playing in the Sullivan County Women’s Softball league in the summer, skiing in the winter, hiking or playing tennis and basketball with her family and friends. Some of her other hobbies include strength training, reading, learning, traveling, and being the ultimate dog mom. She lives in Wurtsboro with her husband, Cosmos, and two dogs, Baxter and Brady.
