Contact Jamee (Ladyjam91@aol.com) to donate gently worn footwear to an organization helping children.

Culture: Check Bethel Woods, the Museum, Stray Cat, Cobalt, BCA and area arts and culture site schedules.

Although it's a bit past ‘peeper's finest color', it's always a good time to travel the permanent ‘Bethel Heritage Trail' (www.bethelheritagetrail.org) through local 1969 Woodstock event highlights or to complete the SCVA (sullivancatskills.com) ‘Dove Trail' photo-op drive of 50 doves in the 15 towns of Sullivan.

Bethel Woods offers the last “Arts in Healing” support group on October 30th. Attend a BW Conservatory “Art, Music & Woodstock for Kids, Session II” on Saturdays at 10 a.m. or at the Museum's ‘Drop In Workshop' on Saturdays at 1 p.m. until November 23rd. Use bethelwoodscenter.org.

The MCSD will honor and induct four alumni: Patrich Dollard, Dan Smalls, Lori Leshner, and Travis Brust, to the ‘Hall of Distinction' public ceremony at the High School Auditorium on Friday, the 1st at noon. Later, an open reception will be held at Bernie's Holiday Inn from 7-9 p.m. Spend the “Night at the Museum” on the 1st at the Bethel Woods sleepover geared for kids (with adult). Daylight Savings Time ends on the 3rd, so turn your clocks back an hour. (I'm turning mine back 3 years). We're also reminded to check and change batteries in our smoke and CO2 alarms at this time of year. Be on time for ‘Commonheart' in the Events Gallery at Bethel Woods on Sunday night at 8 p.m.

Suz sez, “Since I've been spooked and scared every day since 2016, Halloween is nothin'!”
