BETHEL — A boat parade was held on White Lake on Memorial Day in honor of Rikheil Patel, who passed away after going missing the week prior. Patel's boat was escorted around the lake as friends and family followed along in their boats or stood along the shores of White Lake. As the line of boats made its way along the shoreline, many came out of their homes or restaurants and waved as the boats went by, and some just stood in silence as Patel's boat created ripples on the lake one last time.
