Patricia A. (James) Wyss, 76, a longtime resident of Narrowsburg, passed away May 23, 2024 at home. The daughter of the late Kenneth and Helen (Sweet) James, she was born on July 11, 1947 in Brooklyn, NY.

Pat was the widow of Francis P. Wyss Sr., who had passed away November 2, 2019. A Family statement reads: Pat was a loving, caring and giving person. She took great care of her family. She was an avid gardener; Pat and Fran kept their property and grass meticulous. She also enjoyed painting and going to the casino. She especially enjoyed family gatherings. Family was very important. She will truly be missed by all.”

Pat is survived by her children: Christine Kelly and her husband, Carl of Highland Lake, NY, Norman Wyss Jr. and his wife, Gina of Narrowsburg, NY, William Wyss and his companion, Bonnie Thorp of Narrowsburg, NY, Francis P. Wyss Jr. and his wife, Doreen of Narrowsburg, NY, Denise Matern and her husband, Scott of New Foundland, PA; grandchildren: Kayla Miller and her husband Ryan, Brendan Kelly and his fiancée Danielle Russel, Renee Wyss and her companion Michael Hnatko; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pat is predeceased by her husband Fran, her grandson Francis P. Wyss III , brothers Kenneth James, Robert James, William James and her beloved dog Peanut.

Services will be private at the request of the family; burial will take place in St. Francis Cemetery.

Donations can be made in Patricia’s name to Tusten Ambulance Corp or the Narrowsburg Fire Dept.
