Members of the Rock Hill Volunteer Ambulance Corps gathered on Monday evening last week to celebrate two of their young members and recent high school graduates.
Priscilla Martin and Jacob Kaplan were each presented with $1,000 on behalf of the Pearl Dumont Scholarship Fund.
The Scholarship is open to all Monticello students with plans to go into the medical profession.
Dumont was a dedicated member of the Rock Hill Volunteer Ambulance Corps and well remembered for service to the community.
“She did a lot for this ambulance corps,” said Tom Budofsky.
