It’s become a familiar story. Sullivan County Legislature Chairman Robert Doherty never takes responsibility for problems of his making.

His knack for untruthfulness is legendary, rivaled only by his insistence on blaming others for his behavior.

His latest installment? He had no choice but to become delinquent on his property taxes in order to draw attention to property taxes – really?  But what’s drawing attention now is his nose. It puts Pinocchio’s to shame.
