Kauneonga Lake

To the editor:

I write in response to “where did the geese in White Lake go?”  I note the councilman Bernie Cohen said, “I think it was done underhandedly” referring to USDA taking direct action to remedy, the goose pest White Lake and Kauneonga Lake situation.

Please note that feces from geese may contain a variety of bacteria, such as listeria and pasteurella multocida, and parasites, such as giardia and toxoplasmosis.

Bernie, my dock was covered by goose -poop! These geese don’t lay golden eggs - they lay POOP!

I say get rid of them underhand, overhand, whatever - just get rid of them!!

Bravo USDA! Carry on!
