MONTICELLO – The Republican Party is having a primary election on June 27 with early voting currently underway.
Polls will be open on Tuesday from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m.
The only county-wide race on this ballot will be for District Attorney, with Republican Thomas Cawley running against Democrat Brian P. Conaty for the Republican nomination. Conaty has already secured the Democratic endorsement.
In the Town of Thompson there will be a four-way race for Member of the Republican County Com-mittee. The top two vote getters will be elected. Running are Lori A. Benjamin, Jay S.
