Rita C. O'Neill, a retired Private Secretary of Damascus, PA and Boynton Beach, Florida, died April 9, 2020 in Boynton Beach. She was 78 years of age.

Rita was born March 21, 1942 in Roscoe, the daughter of the late Albert and Josephine Moser Meyer and the wife of Jeremiah O'Neill.

Rita was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Alan Milk Post VFW in Long Eddy, Secretary for the Indian Rock Woodlands Association and a member of St. Mary's Church Obernburg.

Rita is survived by her husband of 38 years Jeremiah “Butch” O'Neill, by her sisters Marilyn Hoffman and Claire Degrigrio and husband Frank, by her brother Carl Meyer, and by her stepchildren Brian O'Neill and Lisa Shea and five grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Rita was predeceased by her sister Anne Estroff.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family, burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Obernburg. Memorial contributions may be made to St Mary's Church, Obernburg or to the Allan Milk Post VFW Auxiliary, Long Eddy.
