Rosalie Hoyt Breffle, age 89, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2020, in Greer, SC. She previously lived in Jeffersonville, NY and Spruce Creek Preserve in Dunnellon, FL.

Born on November 28, 1930, in New Berlin, NY, she was the daughter of the late Dr. JR and Ida Hoyt. Mrs. Breffle was married for 64 years to the late Robert Hammond Breffle, who was principal at Jefferson-Youngsville Central School. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, son: Ricky Breffle, brother: Tommy Hoyt, and sister: Phyllis Hoyt. Survivors include her daughters: Kathryn Shaw of Hernando, Fl, and Robin (Phil) Hurwitz of Dillard, GA; sons: John (Debby) Breffle of Taylors, SC, and Bobby (Kathy) Breffle of Hartwell, GA; grandchildren: Barney Roca, Philip (Anna) Hurwitz, Jennifer (Michael) Beeson, Jack Breffle, Nellie Shaw, and Ryan Shaw; great-grandchildren: Avery Sultzbaugh, Sylas Mangleburg, Camp Mangleburg, Eli Heppner, and Fiona Beeson.
