BETHEL — It’s time to celebrate! The Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association (SCVA) will hold its annual meeting and cocktail party on Wednesday, December 7 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, 200 Hurd Road, Bethel. We promise that this will be a night to remember. We will applaud our members’ successes, celebrate tourism growth in the Sullivan Catskills and honor those who have made an impact in our hospitality industry.

SCVA members receive two complimentary tickets. Additional tickets and tickets for non-members are available at $65 each. We are going digital this year. Therefore, all guests must pre-register then print or download their tickets to their phone to gain entry—tickets will be scanned at the front door.

There will be no onsite registration. Deadline to register is by December 1. Call 845-747-4449 or email lmh@scva.net to register.

“We want to thank all our members for being with us this year and contributing to our flourishing Sullivan Catskills community,” remarked Roberta Byron-Lockwood, President/CEO of SCVA. “And we are so grateful to Bethel Woods for hosting this event and bringing all of us together this holiday season.”

Event-goers will have the chance to experience a private showing of Peace, Love and Lights, a light display filled with hundreds of dazzling holiday winter lights, running from Thanksgiving to New Year’s Day, daily from December 15 through January 1.

The evening will also include an award ceremony, honoring local businesses and/or residents with the STAR Award for Individual Achievement, STAR Award for Business Achievement, and TOAST Award for Exceptional Service. Stay tuned as the recipients will be announced soon!

Additionally, there will be live music, cash bar, great food, fun experiences, and a silent auction with all proceeds benefiting a local charity. Sponsorship opportunities are available to showcase your brand, as well as advertising specials in the meeting journal.

“This is our chance to showcase what really lights up our Sullivan Catskills,” stated Byron-Lockwood. “We hope everyone will join us and have a magical evening.”
