HURLEYVILLE — Curious about snowshoeing? To find out if it’s for you, the public is invited to “Snowshoeing Basics” on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 10:00 am at Morgan Outdoors in Hurleyville. This free 30-minute indoor session will cover how snowshoes work, what to wear, where to go, and creative ways to have fun!
Snowshoeing is suitable for a wide range of ages. Children old enough to enjoy a hike are old enough to enjoy snowshoes. Snowshoeing can also be a calorie-burning workout depending on the terrain. It can be enjoyed in backyards, nearby parks, and on public trails without any entry fee.
