LIBERTY -- A familiar sight greeted North Main Street on Saturday, as the local youth competed in the the Liberty Soap Box Derby.

After a full morning of races, three local champions and three rally champions earned a trip to the All-American Soap Box Derby in Akron, Ohio where they'll test their skills against some of the best racers from around the world.

The three local champions are Cora Freidenstine (stock), Mason Smith (superstock) and Cassie Wolcott (masters).

The three rally points champions are Brooke Nichols (superstock), Brooke Roth (masters) and Morgan “Mojo” Van Keuren (masters).
