CALLICOON - Fred and Regina Stabbert III of Callicoon are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Claire Stabbert, to Dr. Gene Burns, son of Gene and Julie Burns of Liberty.
Claire is a graduate of St. John Fisher College in Rochester with a degree in Elementary and Special Education and a Master’s Degree from SUNY New Paltz in Literacy Education. She is currently a second grade teacher at George L. Cooke Elementary School in Monticello.
Gene earned his doctoral degree at Albany College of Pharmacy of Union University. He is the owner of Riverside Remedies in Callicoon.
A 2023 celebration is planned.
