LIBERTY – The Lady Yellowjackets made a statement in their first game of the 2021-22 campaign, putting up 40 against Liberty in their season opener. Dana Donnelly threw a five inning shutout, striking out 12 in the win. Eldred will continue their season on Tuesday as they travel to Chapel Field.

Baseball

The Bulldogs get back in the win column against Livingston Manor after losing to Eldred in a non-league matchup. The mercy rule was in effect as Sullivan West rained down 17 runs of offense while holding the Wildcats to just two. Sullivan West moves to 2-1 on the season while Livingston Manor drops to 1-1 after a win against Roscoe last week.
