BETHEL – The Out of the Darkness walks bring together communities to honor the lives lost to suicide, support those affected by suicide, and raise awareness about mental health and suicide prevention. By participating, your outlet can:
• Highlight an important community cause: Help bring attention to the critical issue of suicide prevention and mental health resources available in our area.
• Connect with the local community: Engage with survivors, advocates, and volunteers who are making a tangible difference.
•Tell inspiring human stories: Share the resilience, hope, and recovery of individuals impacted by suicide.
We would be thrilled to have you at a community walk and would be happy to provide interviews with participants, survivors, and AFSP staff, as well as photography and B-roll opportunities.
Please let us know if your team would like to join us. We’d love to work with you to highlight this important cause and the impact of the event.
Thank you for your consideration, and I hope to see you at a walk!
