SULLIVAN COUNTY — With the start of the 2024-25 school year right around the corner, let’s take a moment to look back at this spring and the various baseball and softball players that stood out for their teams.

Though Sullivan County was unable to produce a Section Champion team this spring, there was an array of playoff teams across the different divisions.

Both Eldred Baseball and Softball reached the Section IX Class D Championship games. Tri-Valley softball similarly reached the Class C Championship.

Both Sullivan West teams made it to Sectionals this year as well.

The weather was a factor this past season as well, with wet conditions making it difficult for many teams to get onto the field and get into a rhythm.

Despite that, however, there was a large contingent of players that made a difference for their teams, helping propel them to victory and making the most of the season.
