In a commitment to making Sullivan County an even greater place to live, play, and work, guided by a fierce passion for community and a love for your neighbor, one person truly can make a difference. Movers and shakers in this degree are few and far between, and among those local leaders worthy of being raised up is Sandra Gerry, founder of Sullivan 180 and Sullivan Renaissance.

The organization of Sullivan 180 is committed to turning the county around one degree at a time, slowly but surely, and is driven by a number of devout progress pushers. Sandra, along with the support of her husband of almost 52 years, Alan Gerry, has remained steadfast in her commitment to these ideals of positive change, empowered youth, and a cleaner environment for all to live in.

We stand by these traits because someone put in the work for us to have them.

Recently, Sandra and all of Sullivan 180 were honored by the Dream Tank, a local foundation started by the retired Judge Josephine Finn, whose focus is on bettering and empowering the youth of the area.

It is a necessary, yet challenging job to take on.

These action-takers jointly embrace the challenge that is keeping the youth on the path no matter what. Through these efforts, countless moments, and the hard work of so many individuals, including Sandra and her team, lasting effects of positive change are sown into the community.

However, the work that they do is not without follow up on that initial care. Since 2016, Sullivan 180 has been there and back again under the guidance of Sandra. With each project started and looked after, there is a promise to keep up that good work that is done - to ensure the generations after us that call this place home have the health and safety that they deserve from start to finish.

Thank you to Sandra and the Sullivan 180 team for the diligence that is so gracefully given to our communities. We are proud of those who turn Sullivan around, one degree at a time, and are sure that the capable hands that push us towards that progress will remain as dutiful as they were since day one.
