The Sullivan West Bulldogs are set to face off against the Pawling Tigers at O’Neill High School in Highland Falls tonight, November 15 at 6 p.m. for the 2nd year in a row like déjà vu! The Bulldogs are fresh off a win over Eldred in their semi-final game last Friday after coming up short in their October matchup against the Yellowjackets.
It was the only loss of the season for the Bulldogs. SW is on a five-game win streak and will be looking to repeat their Sectional championship status this season.
The Pawling Tigers recently defeated Ellenville in their semi-final game and secured their spot for the rematch. The Bulldogs have been dominating on the field this season, outscoring their opponents by 20 or more points in all their wins. Pawling has had similar success, losing only one game to Tri-Valley back in October and in four of their five games have had home field advantage. Pawling is 4-0 in conference play and 6-1 overall.
The Bulldogs will look to utilize their key returning players to win again: quarterback Adam Ernst, Alec Hubert, Jesse Milk, Gary Milk, Evan Ebert, Seamus Johnston and Dylan Lockwood. The Bulldogs are ready to close out 2024 Sectionals with a big win.
