Thomas G. Bisig, age 82, of Obernburg, NY a retired tractor trailer driver for United Parcel Service (UPS) died at his home on Wednesday, December 9, 2020. The son of the late Albert F. and Mary Ellen Muston Bisig he was born March 9, 1938 in Teaneck, NJ. Tom was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth Teitz Bisig on December 19, 2019.

Tom was very active in his community. He was a member of the North Branch Fire Department, a Commissioner of the North Branch Fire District, a parishioner of St. Mary's Church in Obernburg, NY, a member of the board of St. Mary's Cemetery and a US Army Veteran of the Korean War.

Tom is survived by his children: Scott Bisig and his wife Barbara of Oradell, NJ and Dawn Bisig and Mark Grundel of Narrowsburg, NY, his grandchildren Tyler, Krystina, Amanda and Michelle and great grandson Roy Medal, one sister Karen Boos of New Jersey, nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife Tom was predeceased by his son John Edward Bisig.

Grave side services will be Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 11:30 AM at St. Mary's Cemetery Obernburg, NY. Deacon Larry Knack will officiate. Social distancing guidelines will be in place and facial coverings will be required. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the North Branch Fire Department or the Upper Delaware Ambulance Corps.
