The 40th annual conference of the New York State Town Clerks Association  was held in Albany on April 24 -27 and over 300 Town Clerks from around the state were in attendance.

One of the highlights of the conference was the awards for Registered Municipal Clerks. Among the recipients receiving their renewal certifications were Town of Delaware Town Clerk Tess McBeath and Town of Bethel Town Clerk Rita Sheehan. McBeath and Sheehan are in their 25th year of being Town Clerks.  May 1st-7th is also the 53rd Annual Professional Municipal Clerk's Week.

With their renewal certifications, The New York State Town Clerks Association recognized McBeath and Sheehan for their commitment to the organization, as well as to professional growth and development in service to their communities.
