Callicoon Center
To the editor:
Frank Hahn was a great man who was a stalwart and quiet leader. Whether on the road with the Maintenance Crew or at the Callicoon Volunteer Fire Department he was a strong and consistent Leader, mentoring folks who saw him as a gentleman.
Carla and my wife Missy (Minoux) Murphy have been friends for 63 years since the age of 5.
When I met Frank I always enjoyed his company and also his devotion for what was the right thing to do! I also loved his steak barbecue accompanied by potatoes and only one vegetable.
Frank reminded me of a Thomas Jefferson quote, “Bend on Style but Stay Firm on Principle” — that was the Frank Hahn that I will always remember.
