William A. Rosenberg, a retired local banker and lifelong resident of the area, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at his home in Monticello. He was 79.

The son of the late Lester Rosenberg and Frances Karp Rosenberg, he was born February 8, 1943 in Monticello. Bill was a 1960 graduate of Monticello High School. He lived his life his way.

He is survived by his wife: Carol Kaufman Rosenberg; a son: Michael Rosenberg and his wife Michelle; a daughter: Jenna Rosenberg; a beloved grandson: Logan; two sisters: Edie Epstein and Hildy Rosenberg Schoonmaker; an aunt: Anne Perlman and her husband Bill; and many nieces and nephews.
