William Hatton Jr. passed away on January 1, 2023 at Westchester Medical Center. Billy had been battling Cancer at the time of his death. He was surrounded by family as he passed.
The son of the late William and Evelyn Hatton, he was born December 12, 1951 in Liberty, NY.
Billy served in the Army briefly before he was honorably discharged. He went on to develop skills in auto body and worked in several shops including his own. Bill was a member of the Local 17 Laborer’s Union. After retiring from Local 17, Billy enjoyed his free time tinkering around at home in his garage and spending time with his girlfriend, Arlene.
Billy had a green thumb and loved to share his crops with family and friends. Everyone raved about his homemade tomato juice! He also enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially when he could catch some fish with his granddaughter, Madison.
He is survived by his girlfriend Arlene; son William (Danielle) Hatton; granddaughter Madison Hatton; sisters Luann Youmans, Karen (Fred) Werlau, and June (Lou) Monteleone; nieces and nephews Stephanie, Eric, Sarah, Jessica, Melanie, and Brett.
Billy is now back with his best friend and longtime companion Duke. He was often seen riding around in his new truck with his boy Dukie. Billy and his golden retriever were inseparable.
As per his request, there will be no services.
