HONESDALE, PA – …“It’s a day designed to focus on yourself while enjoying activities with others. The combination of workshops offers enriching opportunities for health and happiness, energy and tranquility,” says Wayne Memorial Community Relations Manager Carol Kneier, MS, RD, LDN, CDCES. “Plus, a buffet lunch and a chance to win prizes.” Traditionally one of Wayne Memorial Hospital’s most popular annual events, The Women Only Luncheon Symposium, now in its 24th year, will take place on Friday, May 2 from 8:00am – 2:00 pm at Ladore’s Performing Arts and Recreation Center in Waymart.
This year’s program includes a keynote address by Ryanne Jennings, President/CEO of Wayne County Community Foundation. Her presentation, Navigating Hard Conversations: From Theory to Practice, can be applied to many aspects of our lives; business, family, personal views, etc. It’s a topic everyone can benefit from. Sessions include: improving sleep, self-defense, nutrition, to name a few. Enjoy making a craft, enhancing relationships, cookie decorating and much more.
The event is a collaborative effort developed by a WOLS committee which meets to discuss topics and presenters. The event is $60 per person. Workshop sizes are limited, so interested individuals are encouraged to register early. For reservations and information, call (570) 253-8990 or email Jean Tuttle at tuttle@wmh.org.
