FREMONT CENTER – The Hankins-Fremont Fire Department Auxiliary will be holding two events soon. First is the annual Trunk or Treat event on Saturday, Oct. 24, 3-5pm., 20 Newman Hill Rd, Fremont Center. Come down to the firehouse for a "Spooktacular" afternoon of family fun! Decorated trunks, games and prizes. Come dressed in your favorite costume. Trunk participants needed.

The second event is our Election Day Soup Sale at the Fremont Center Ballfield, 4 Newman Hill Rd, Fremont Center, Tuesday Nov. 3, 6am - till sold out. The sale needed to be moved from the voting place, but you can still get your delicious soup like past years by coming by the ballfield before or after you vote. There will be Chili and New England Clam Chowder, $10 per quart.
