The first nude beach I was aware of was one in Sarasota, Florida.  Since there are a lot of Senior citizens in that area, my aunt and I would joke about it, saying they would hang out together and hang down together.   

Now I see in the local newspaper that I read about there being a nude beach in New Jersey, there are signs along the way, warning people about what they are about to behold.  One sign reads “ Attention:  You May Encounter Nude Sunbathers.”  Another reads, “Welcome to the Friendliest Beach Around. Be kind and enjoy your day.”  

I have decided not to go there at all,  there’s no way I’d be stripping, and I don’t care to see others who feel free to do so.

I’ll opt for a beach where everything is covered up.  I may be a free spirit in some ways, but that’s where I draw the line.Years ago, I remember someone telling me about an unfortunate experience  she and her husband had on their honeymoon. They were at a resort where there was a lot of nude bathing going on and they decided to join in.  Big mistake! They both got severely sun burned which definitely interfered  with their relationship.  

 So think twice before indulging in nudity because it often is not what it’s cracked up to be.
