Kids ages 6 and up are invited to enjoy special arts programs at the Western Sullivan Public Library!

Crafty kids will love Western Sullivan Public Library’s DIY Club with Miss C, a monthly meetup for kids ages 6 and up to experiment and create together. This month we will be meeting on Friday, May 1st from 5-6pm at the Callicoon Branch. DIY-ers can make Decoupage Picture Frames to give as gifts for Mother’s Day!

Western Sullivan Public Library is happy to welcome back the Barryville Area Arts Association’s “Picasso Was Right: Children’s Paint Party” series on Saturday, May 23rd from 12-2pm at the Callicoon Branch. Children ages 16 and under are invited to show off their artistic talents and create paintings that will be featured in the annual “Picasso Was Right” children’s art exhibition at the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance.

“Picasso Was Right” is sponsored by the Western Sullivan Public Library, the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance, and the Barryville Area Arts Association, and made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant Program, a program of the NYS Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the NY State Legislature and administered by the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance.

Registration is required for all programs, and drop-ins will be accommodated whenever possible. For more details and to sign up for any of these programs, visit the calendar at WSPLonline.org. Questions? Reach out to Callison at WSPL.childrens@gmail.com.
