SULLIVAN COUNTY – The Mid-Hudson Chapter of the Basketball Coaches Association of New York (BCANY) has announced their boys Section IX All-Stars for the 2025-2026 season. This honor celebrates the excellence, dedication, and sportsmanship displayed throughout the season.

To be eligible, the teams head coach must be an active member of the Association. Member coaches nominate players from their respective teams. From the nominees, coaches within each class vote to determine recipients.

Chris Russo, BCANY Associate Executive Director and Monticello High School Boys Basketball Coach, emphasized the significance of the honors: “Honoring the dedication, work, and talent of our players and coaches is incredibly important. These recognitions carry special meaning because they are chosen by fellow coaches across the section. Being acknowledged by those you compete against speaks volumes about the impact these individuals have made. Congratulations to all of the award winners and BCANY All-Stars.”

Eight student-athletes from Sullivan County were selected for the 2025-2026 season.
