MCSD holds Monticello PreK Open House on September 2. Conference Day, Chase Kindergarten Kick Off, Cooke Kindergarten Orientation and KLR 3rd Grade Orientation take place on Wednesday, 9/3. All students return to classes on September 4.

Crawford Library Trustee petitions are due in on September 15. The election vote is October 15 (845-794-4660).

Sullivan 180’s Healthiest Fire Department Challenge will be announced at the SC Volunteer Firefighters Parade in Monticello on Saturday, September 6. The Parade kicks off at 2p.m. Check in at Carmine’s Ride for Autism to benefit Center for Discovery on Saturday at Wurtsboro O’Toole’s OTHD. Registration and Breakfast at 9a.m. followed by the ride, live music, food and raffles. The Ramblers perform at the Western on Saturday night.

Bethel Council of the Arts at Kauneonga Lake Artspace: Enjoy the ongoing artist showcase and view the ‘In Stillness’ exhibit until September 20.

Bethel Woods (bethelwoodscenter.org): Museum visits, programs, concerts. September 6: ‘blink-182’. The weekly Sunday Harvest Festival from 11-4p.m. with craft and food vendors, music, activities and special events runs until October 5. 9/7 is True Country theme: Line dancing, Cowboy Hat decorating and music of Cast Iron Cowboys.
