Bethel community Litter Pluck Day

KAUNEONGA LAKE – The Town of Bethel in collaboration with Bethel Sanitation will be holding a Community Litter Pluck on April 26. Gather at the Bethel Senior Center, 3594 State Route 55, Kauneonga Lake at 10:00am for refreshments and bagels.

The town will also be distributing gloves, bags, safety vests and trash grabbers. Bethel Sanitation will be helping dispose of the road debris at no cost to the taxpayers. “This is a great opportunity for our community volunteers to come together in person again to help make Bethel roadways litter-free.  We appreciate all the work our volunteers do all year long and this is one way to thank them and revitalize their efforts,” remarked Daniel Sturm, Town Supervisor.

If you have a road that you need assistance with, please call town hall at (845) 583-4350 ext. 102, Daniel Sturm, Bethel Town Supervisor, bethelsupervisor@libertybiz.rr.com or Rita Sheehan, Town Clerk, bethelclerk@hvc.rr.com ext. 101.  You can find more information on our Facebook Page Town of Bethel New York.

Come together for this family-oriented kid friendly event for a great cause. Let’s make Bethel cleaner and greener! Rain or shine. If you are unable to join us on April 26 a second event is planned for May 17.
