This month, we’re excited to partner with Danielle at the Narrowsburg Farmer’s Market to share a vibrant, healthy recipe that celebrates the best of summer. Thanks to a 2025 Community Development Grant, the Narrowsburg Farmers’ Market continues to offer food education and inspiration: empowering our community to cook with confidence using fresh, local ingredients.
Every ingredient in this smoothie has a purpose: sunflower shoots, rich in chlorophyll, enzymes, and trace minerals, act like a multivitamin straight from the earth. Sweet, juicy blueberries add a burst of flavor while delivering powerful antioxidants to help reduce inflammation and protect cognitive health. And hemp seeds, with their ideal balance of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, support both brain and heart health. Together these fresh, local ingredients nourish the body and mind while capturing the refreshing taste of summer.
Make the most of the summer season by exploring the Narrowsburg Farmer’s Market, held every Saturday from 10 AM to 1 PM until October 25th, rain or shine. Located behind the Narrowsburg Union, the market invites you to discover fresh, local produce and the vibrant spirit of its vendors each week.
