Hawley, PA — Bold Gold Media will host its 2nd Annual Run/Walk for the Cure 5K on Saturday, April 25, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Wallenpaupack Area High School track.

The community event invites runners and walkers of all ages to participate while raising funds and awareness in support of the Susan G. Komen Foundation, which works to fund breast cancer research, education, and patient support programs as well as help those in treatment pay their bills. 

Participants may register individually or join as part of a team.  Prizes will be awarded, and the event aims to bring together local residents, businesses, and organizations in support of an important cause.

Local businesses also have the opportunity to sponsor the event and show their support for breast cancer awareness in the community.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation and its mission to save lives by investing in breakthrough research, community health outreach, and patient support and monies raised stay in Pennsylvania.
