Callicoon was a sea of costumed creatures Saturday afternoon as zombie hunters, bumblebees, baby Yodas and more took to Main Street for the hamlet’s annual Halloween parade.
This year’s parade kicked off with bright sunshine and just one tiny hitch. The traditional line-up on Audley Dorrer Drive put marchers on a path to encounter the temporary stop light set up at the intersection with Bridge Street to guide traffic through construction on the bridge to Pennsylvania.
The red light quickly made way to green, and Callicoon firefighters led families through town with a firetruck escort as business owners and onlookers lined up along Main Street to catch a glimpse of the creative costumes as they made their way to the Delaware Youth Center for an afternoon of fun and games.
