MONTICELLO — The Catskill Exotic Bird Club will be holding its gala 40th anniversary dinner, 6 PM, Thursday, July 24th, at Albella’s Restaurant in Monticello. Everyone is invited. The cost of the sit-down dinner is just $60 per person which includes appetizers, choices of four entrees, softdrinks, dessert and coffee as well as gratuities. There is a cash bar as well.

This year’s presentation is by Master Falconer Brian Bunce who will be bringing a selection of his birds: owls, hawks, falcons. Up close and personal, he will describe the excitement and mechanics of training the birds as well as the biology of the raptors under his care.

As always, there will be an exciting silent auction and door prizes.
