Jeffersonville – On Wednesday, October 6th at 4pm in our Jeffersonville Branch, WSPL invites the League of Women Voters of the City of New York to host a round table about the constitution.

What does the U.S. Constitution mean to you?

During our country’s 250th Anniversary Year, the League of Women Voters of the City of New York invites you to start a conversation to explore the U.S. Constitution and how it impacts your life today. Invite your friends, family, classmates, or colleagues -- in other words “WE THE PEOPLE”.

Included in this presentation is a guided conversational video featuring Heidi Schreck, playwright of the award-winning Broadway show What the Constitution Mean to Me, and Ally Coll, Associate Professor of Constitutional Law at CUNY School of Law.

The group will have the opportunity to discuss and ask questions.
