To the editor:
Over the past few weeks, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting many of you at your doorsteps while out canvassing, and I want to say thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to talk with me, to share your concerns, and, just as importantly, to share what you love about Bethel. These conversations have only deepened my appreciation for the place we all call home.
From folks who have lived here their whole lives to newer neighbors who have chosen Bethel as their forever home, what’s clear to me is that we all care deeply about the future of our town. We may have different experiences and priorities, but there’s a shared desire to see Bethel thrive, to preserve what makes it special while continuing to grow and adapt with care.
I’m running for Bethel Town Council because, like you, I care about our town’s future and want to bring my experience, energy, and commitment to help Bethel grow in a thoughtful, balanced and sustainable way. I’m excited about the opportunity to do this work, to roll up my sleeves, listen, and collaborate in service of our whole community.
Thank you again to everyone who has opened their door, shared their perspective, or lent a kind word and I look forward to more conversations in the weeks ahead.
Paula Moss, Smallwood
