NEW YORK – On Sunday, March 22 the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) began their online registration for 2026 summer camps around the region. The camp consists of seven weeks of outdoor education for children ages 11-17. Below are the four camp locations in the region that will be offering the program.

• Camp DeBruce, Livingston Manor in Sullivan County

• Camp Pack Forrest, Warrensburg in Warren County

• Camp Rushford, Caneadea in Allegany County

• Camp Colby, Saranac Lake in Franklin County

The cost for the program is $350 per week. At the camp, children will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of fun and educational outdoor activities, including fishing, fly-tying, archery, canoeing, hiking, camping, and more!

For more information on how to register or sponsor a child, visit the DEC Summer Camps website at https://dec.ny.gov/things-to-do/summer-camps.
