Dimeco, Inc. Announces Second Quarter 2026 Earnings

HONESDALE, PA – Dimeco, Inc. (OTCQX: DIMC), the holding company for The Dime Bank reported total assets of $1.2 billion on June 30, 2026, an increase of $81.3 million or 7.3% from the second quarter of 2025. Total loans of $873.6 million reflect an increase of $89.8 million or 11.4% over last year. Total deposits were $1 billion on June 30, 2026, an increase of $56.4 million or 5.9% over the previous year. Stockholders’ equity showed growth from June 30, 2025, of $19.4 million to $132.9 million on June 30.

 

Net income of $10 million for the first six months of 2026 was $2.1 million or 27.4% greater than the same period last year. This resulted in an annualized return on average assets of 1.71% and return on average equity of 15.37%, increases of 21.3% and 8.4%, respectively, over the same period last year.  

 

Dimeco’s Board of Directors declared dividends of $.90 per share for the first half of 2026, a 7.1% rise over the same period 2025. Earnings per share of $3.92 represented a 26.9% increase over last year, while the market value of Dimeco stock increased by 51.8% to $55.51 as of June 30, 2026.

 

President and Chief Executive Officer Peter Bochnovich stated, “2026 is off to a great start. Loans, deposits, and stockholders’ equity all demonstrated strong year-over-year growth. We are thrilled to be opening our tenth branch in Throop later this year to continue expanding in Lackawanna County. During the remaining six months of 2026, management will remain focused on making strategic decisions that position the bank and Dimeco for continued growth and long-term success, benefiting both the organization and its shareholders.
