About the Shows
Pissi Ruins Judy Garland at Carnegie Hall, Written & performed by Pissi Myles.
Drag comedian Pissi Myles pays homage to the legendary album Judy at Carnegie Hall and the icon herself, Judy Garland, by parodying all of your favorite tunes and moments in a raucous and riotous night of laughs. It’s equal parts camp, cabaret, and chaos – just the way Judy would’ve wanted it.
Pissi Myles (writer/performer) was born kicking and screaming – and hasn’t stopped since. A celebrated drag comedian, singer, and host, she’s been called one of the most talented queens in the Northeast by fans and peers alike. She’s worked with brands like Taco Bell, Miller Lite, and Grindr, and performed alongside Kim Petras, King Princess, and Danity Kane. Her work has been featured in Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Mic, RuPaul’s What’s the T? podcast, and more.
When Hailey Met Sally, Written & performed by Amanda Melhuish and Cat Montesi.
I’ll have what she/they’s having! Celebrate New Year’s Eve with a New Queer take on Nora Ephron’s iconic New Year’s Eve film. This queer reading features an all-LGBTQ cast and real LGBTQ+ couple interviews.

Girl Walks Into A Movie Theater, Written & performed by Mandy Pennington, directed by Simone Daniel.
The Gateway Cinema was a community mainstay: a dated, sticky underworld where countless Northeastern Pennsylvanians saw their first R-rated movie underage and felt safe enough to be their true selves in the dark. It was also where Mandy Pennington grew up, got a job, and faced what every teenager dreads: finding out exactly who they are. Girl Walks Into a Movie Theater is a love letter to a weird and wonderful place and time that will never be again. From first love to first loss, this solo play explores coming-of-age rites of passage in the best/worst first job anyone could ask for.
Mandy Pennington (Actor/Playwright) is thrilled to be shamelessly exposing both her past and inner monologue. Mandy is a writer, marketer, teacher, and actor with a passion for storytelling and an MFA in creative writing from the Maslow Family Graduate Program in Creative Writing at Wilkes University. She is also a founding member of the New Vintage Ensemble. Selected credits include 1984 (Scranton Fringe), Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play (Scranton Fringe), Madam & Eve (Scranton Fringe), Hamlet (NVE), Our Town (NVE), Pride & Prejudice (NVE), Angels in America (LTWB), August: Osage County (LTWB), The Pallbearers (Gaslight Theater Co.), A Charlie Brown Christmas (Gaslight Theater Co.), James and the Giant Peach (Ovation Playhouse), Annie (Ovation Playhouse) and Pippin (Ovation Playhouse).
