ELLENVILLE — The Ellenville Regional Hospital Auxiliary celebrated the culmination of a successful year of fundraising and volunteer service with its annual Holiday Tea, held on Friday, December 5, where the organization proudly presented a record-setting $31,000 pledge donation to support Ellenville Regional Hospital.
The Holiday Tea serves as a signature event for the Auxiliary, bringing members, volunteers, and hospital leadership together to reflect on the year’s accomplishments and recognize the collective efforts that support the hospital’s mission. During the event, Auxiliary leaders highlighted the dedication of members and volunteers who contribute their time and talents through fundraising initiatives, gift shop operations, patient support programs, and community health outreach.
Throughout 2025, the Auxiliary hosted and supported numerous successful initiatives, including profitable annual theater and luncheon fundraisers, expanded participation in outdoor street fairs, and a photo exhibit at the Ellenville Public Library honoring the Auxiliary’s 102-year legacy of service. The Auxiliary Gift Shop remained the cornerstone of fundraising efforts, achieving a 17 percent increase in revenue despite economic challenges affecting merchandise availability and shipping costs.
In addition to fundraising success, the Auxiliary strengthened its organizational foundation by updating financial and regulatory systems and transitioning to a new banking partner to support continued growth. Membership development remained a focus, with new members and volunteers joining through outreach initiatives, including a “Bring a Friend” campaign. “The generosity and commitment of our members, volunteers, and community supporters make this donation possible,” said Auxiliary President, Haze Gal during the presentation. “This year’s pledge reflects not only financial success, but the spirit of service that defines the Auxiliary.”
The $31,000 donation represents the largest pledge in the Auxiliary’s history and will directly support Ellenville Regional Hospital’s ongoing efforts to provide high-quality care and services to the community. The Auxiliary also used the occasion to thank hospital leadership and staff for their continued partnership and support, noting the shared commitment to strengthening healthcare in the region. As the organization looks ahead to 2026, the Auxiliary reaffirmed its dedication to community engagement, volunteerism, and innovative fundraising to continue supporting Ellenville Regional Hospital for years to come.
