ROSCOE – The Livingston Manor-Roscoe Library invites the public to join the New York State Homeland Security and Emergency Services Citizen Preparedness Corps at the Roscoe Branch for an Emergency Preparedness Seminar on Friday, February 6 at 5:00pm.
With severe weather events becoming more frequent and extreme, it is more important than ever for New Yorkers to be prepared for disasters. This program equips residents with the knowledge and resources needed to prepare for disasters, respond appropriately, and recover as quickly as possible. Participants will learn how to develop a family emergency plan and assemble essential emergency supplies. Each family that attends will receive a free preparedness kit.
