MIDDLETOWN – Garnet Health Medical Center will host a special book signing event with local author Stephanie Lock on Friday, October 10, from 11am-6pm, at Garnet Health Medical Center’s Gift Shop, located at 707 E. Main St, Middletown. Lock’s new children’s book, If Goldfish Were Bluebirds, A Story About Self-Acceptance, encourages children and adults alike to embrace self-acceptance. 

Lock holds a master’s degree in school counseling and works primarily with preschool-aged students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs.

 In addition to the book signing, the event will feature items for sale from local vendors, including:

• Handmade cupcakes from Lisa Bedosky of Momma B’s

• Crocheted goldfish keychains from Maddie Dockery of Granny by Nature

• Chocolate-covered pretzels from Gemma of Crunchie Freshly Dipped Pretzels 

The event is free and open to the public. Join author Stephanie Lock in a celebration of self-acceptance.
