The 29th Annual Callicoon Tractor Parade takes place on  Sunday, June 8 at noon on Lower Main Street in Callicoon. Come enjoy the fun and make sure to stop down at the Delaware Youth Center’s grounds for a yummy barbecue and snacks after the parade. Don’t miss getting a collector Tractor Parade T-Shirt before they run out. You’ll find them on sale in town and at the Center. Note to Tractors – registration opens at 8am at the Delaware Youth Center. There is no fee to enter the parade, but the DYC appreciates any donation big or small that you can make to help offset the cost of putting this wonderful event on. Ella Herbert and Ethan Clark are representing Sullivan West at the HOBY Leadership Conference in June. As part of their project they are hosting a canned food drive at Peck’s Market in Jeffersonville. The donation bin is by the customer service counter on the floor. All donations are greatly appreciated.

A Fish Fry is being held on Friday, June 6 from 4-7pm at the White Sulphur Springs Fire House. Brought to you by the White Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church and the White Sulphur Springs Fire Department. You may eat in or take out a delicious meal for only $15 that includes fried haddock, a baked potato, coleslaw, a dinner roll and a brownie. Advance tickets are recommended. Contact a church or fire department member to get your ticket(s).

“Firehouse Antiques” is having a going out of business sale and are located at 7 Mueller Road in Cochecton. They are open Friday, May 23 to Sunday, May 25 from 10-3pm. Stop in and see what they have available. Deals to be had, everything must go. Take time to explore and pickup a treasure! 

It’s National EMS week, thank them when you see these dedicated people,  when you see them. Not only during this week but all the time. They go out in all sorts of weather and horrible conditions for all of us 24/7. Having been one of them in the past, I personally thank them.
